Who processes your data
The controller of your personal data is Valentin Kalmykov, company ID (IČO) 21896551, with registered office at Heinemannova 2697/12, 160 00 Praha 6, Czech Republic, trading under the name Cortio.

What data we process
When you fill in the contact form: your name, email address or phone number, the topic you chose, the size of your company and the text you write to us. We also store the page from which you sent the form, its language and the time it was sent.
When you email us: the information you include in your email.
When you visit the website: technical data needed to display the page, namely your IP address and browser type. These are stored in the server’s operational logs.
We do not ask for or process any special categories of personal data.
Why we process it
To reply to you and to agree on working together. The legal basis is taking steps prior to entering into a contract under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR and, for general enquiries, our legitimate interest in replying under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
If we start working together, we also process the data to perform the contract and to meet our obligations under tax and accounting laws.
We do not use your data to send marketing and do not pass it to anyone for promotional purposes.
How long we keep it
Enquiries from the form arrive in our internal chat. We keep an enquiry on the website server only temporarily: until it is delivered, and then for no more than 30 days as a backup. If it cannot be delivered, we delete it from the server no later than 37 days after the form was sent.
Enquiries that did not lead to working together: twelve months from our last communication.
Data from a contractual relationship: for the duration of our cooperation and then for the period required by tax and accounting laws.
After that, we delete the data.
Who receives your data
We do not pass your data on, except to the providers who help us run our business:
- Hostinger International Ltd. (Cyprus): website server, receiving the form and storing the temporary copy of enquiries
- Telegram Messenger Inc.: our internal chat, where enquiries from the form arrive
- Google Ireland Limited (Google Fonts): website fonts; when the page loads, your browser sends your IP address to Google
- the provider of our email mailbox: email communication
- an accounting firm: bookkeeping, if we start working together
Telegram Messenger Inc. is based outside the European Union and may also process data outside it. We pass only the form data to Telegram, so that we can handle your enquiry quickly. Google may transfer data to the USA; in doing so, it relies on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
Cookies
The website does not use cookies or any analytics or marketing tools.
Your rights
You have the right to:
- know what data we process about you and get a copy of it
- have inaccurate data corrected
- have your data erased if we have no legal reason to keep it
- restrict processing
- object to processing based on legitimate interest
- data portability
Just write to info@cortio.eu. We will reply within thirty days at the latest.
If you believe we are handling your data incorrectly, you can lodge a complaint with the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection (Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů), Pplk. Sochora 27, 170 00 Praha 7, uoou.gov.cz.
Effective date
This policy applies from 2 October 2026. If we change it, we will publish the new version on this page with its effective date.
